- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy in another bowl.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on racks before serving.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for best flavor. Adjust sugar based on desired sweetness. You can also add white chocolate chips or nuts for variation.
